Kelvin Nanney, CMP, CAE

Kelvin is the CEO of Meeting Possibilities. He has worked in the meetings industry for more than thirty years. Kelvin earned his CAE (Certified Association Executive) designation in August 2014 from the American Society of Association Executives and his CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) designation in January 2001 from the Convention Industry Council. In addition to being CEO of Meeting Possibilities, Kelvin serves as the Executive Director of CAI Bay Area & Central CA Chapter and CAI CA North Chapter.

Kelvin is an active member with AMC Institute, CalSAE (California Society of Association Executives), GMIC (Green Meetings Industry Council) and SPIN (Senior Planners Industry Network). He is currently serving on the Bay Area Regional Council of CalSAE. He has been an active member of MPI with memberships in Sacramento, Southern California and North Florida as well as Meeting Professionals International Northern California (MPINCC) serving on the board of directors and as chairman on various committees. Kelvin joined Rotary International in 1999.

Prior to joining Meeting Possibilities, Kelvin held management positions in sales and marketing, operations and accounting for Intercontinental, Hilton, Radisson and independent hotel companies in California and Florida.

Lori Kinsey, CMP

Lori brings over seventeen years of meeting and event planning experience to Meeting Possibilities, six of which have focused on association management. Lori is the current Executive Director of Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter. She manages the implementation of board policies/actions, budget/finance matters, and overall chapter operations for MPINCC. Lori initially served as the Event Coordinator for Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter (MPINCC) for four years before stepping into the role of Associate Executive Director for MPINCC in November 2014.

Previously, Lori worked with Symposia Medicus, coordinating continuing medical education conferences for physicians and nurses throughout North America. She has also coordinated educational programs for The Permanente Medical Group, California Society of CPAs, and University of California, Office of the President. Lori’s background in meeting planning also includes trade show coordination and marketing. She has held many volunteer positions as an active member of PTA, including Secretary on the Executive Board, Historian and Volunteer Coordinator, and Registration Day Coordinator. Lori graduated Cum Laude from San Francisco State University where she earned two Bachelor of Art degrees, one in Radio & Television and one in Dance. Subsequently, she was awarded the Professional Meeting Planning Certificate from SFSU, College of Extended Education. Additionally, Lori earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2012.

Lori brings knowledge, experience, and professionalism to her work, and a genuine interest in making a positive contribution to her client organization.

Rachel Selwan

Rachel has been with Meeting Possibilities, for over 3 years and involved with Associations and Event Coordination for over seven years. Her primary role is as an Associate Executive Director for the CAI Bay Area & Central California Chapter, as well as the CAI California North Chapter. Rachel is a detail-oriented professional with extensive knowledge of event creation, planning and execution.

Before joining Meeting Possibilities, Rachel worked as an Accounting Professional for Ideal Computer Services, Inc., and as the Administrative Assistant to the Board of Directors for the Associated Students Inc. at Sacramento State while attending College. Rachel has her BA in Photography with a minor in Journalism.

Kristyn Garcia

Kristyn started her career with Meeting Possibilities in 2016. Her primary role is as an Event Coordinator and Administrative Support for Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter. Kristyn is a meticulous professional with knowledge of customer service, event creation, marketing, planning and execution.

Prior to joining Meeting Possibilities, Kristyn worked as a Tour Operator for Good Times Travel, a Customer Service Specialist for Fovitec and as a Marketing Intern at Flavor Group. Kristyn earned her BS in Recreation Parks and Tourism at SF State University.

Arlanna Henry

Arlanna joined Meeting Possibilities in 2016. Her primary role is Office Coordinator. Arlanna has extensive experience in office management and customer service. Her previous career included positions with Novitex Office Solutions as a Law Office Administrator, Office Manager with Red Oak Realty and Education Program Coordinator with Chabot Space and Science Center. Arlanna earned her AA in Business Administration from Diablo Valley College.
